This weekend was Fan Appreciation Weekend. We had a ton of giveaways and the cheerleaders were there for it as it was our last game of the regular season. I started out the day making Chuck-A-Puck bags and doing seat tags. I got the Chuck-A-Puck table set up and brought a bucket of the bags to it to stock it up. We had a little misunderstanding that had to be taken care of with one of the vendors at the tables on the concourse. He showed up, but his tables and tablecloths weren't there because he wasn't supposed to be there. After bringing the bags of pucks over, I went to the office and talked to my boss about it. It wasn't something I was told to worry about, so I went back to my spot for the night which was on Chuck-A-Puck mobile. When doors opened, I went around the concourse multiple times before being stopped by our Director of Ticket Sales. He asked me if I was busy and I wasn't at the time so he took me to one of the suites. There had been a mix up and the people who were supposed to be in the suite and some of the season ticketholders had to share. There was food supplied for the people who had come with the Scrap It company, who is one of our sponsors, so I was there to make sure the season ticketholders didn't eat their food. I picked up empty cups and plates around the room, picked up baby bottles and binkies that fell, and talked to the owner of Scrap It and his family members. They also got a surprise visit from Trax. When they were cashing out for their drinks, he tipped me $20 for being there. I left shortly after and went to go back to Chuck-A-Puck only to see that we had run out of all four of the big buckets we had prepared. At the end of the game, we handed out Apex cards for a free game of laser tag. With there being so many kids from the suite, when they headed out, I gave them a few extra cards. We won the game 9-5 and one of the giveaways was won by Elizabeth Duffy who just graduated from Nichols. After the game, we had a full breakdown and brought all the merch equipment to the back stairway, the office, and to the basement area.

 I had my first 3-in-3 this past weekend (3 games in 3 days), and it was so busy! January 12th was country night and was sponsored by Off The Rails. We came in and did Chuck-A-Pucks and merch stands, but the president brought in her new dog, so we played with her for a while as well. I did the seat tags again this game. I ran the Chuck-A-Puck mobile station for the weekend which is a bunch of the bags in a Price Chopper shopping cart. I walk around the concourse and stop at the Kids Club table and the bar section to get a good flow of people seeing me. January 13th was a high school double header day. We had 2 games between Nashoba Regional High School and Grafton High School, JV and Varsity. Like always, we came in to do Chuck-A-Pucks until I checked on the concourse table setup. I was called to help set up the inflatable for the players to skate through during their introduction. January 5 & 6

 On January 5th, we had our first sensory friendly/autism awareness game. We went to the office and worked on making Chuck-A-Pucks and went to help set up the merch stands. This was also the first game I got to work that I got to be the one to check on the tables for the concourse. I got a blueprint style map of which tables were supposed to be where and who was supposed to be at them. It was also my first game doing the seat tags. These are pieces of paper that are taped to the seats in the rink of ticket buyers. They go on single ticket buyers' seats and those who bought the tickets for their group. During this game, the Railers had The Railyard (a room that has tables, chairs, and a bar that gets rented out each game) booked as the "Cool Down" room. I've worked with kids and adults with autism before, so I offered to be stationed there that night. I was introduced to a couple people from the Seven Hills Foundation as they were some of the sponsors for that night. T

March 2 & 3

 After a month away from the DCU Center, we finally had some more home games. Because we were out for so long, we had to store away everything after our last game in February. On game day March 2nd, we worked on our Chuck-A-Puck bags for a little while and then traversed to the depths of the rink to bring back up all the racks for the merch stands. When working on the Chuck-A-Pucks, I found a puck with a little message on it from a kid that said "Hi can I win pleas". I got pulled from setting up the merch stands to do the seat tags around the rink and then setup the Kid's Club table as we were opening the doors soon. I worked the Kid's Club table for the weekend, which has been the first time I've officially been assigned there. It was Harry Potter night, A.K.A. "The Wizarding World of Worcester" for copyright purposes. For this, they gave out Trax Harry Potter bobbleheads to the first 1,500 people and all of us interns got one as well. On March 3rd we c
